The parish church of Santi Vito e Modesto (known as the parish church of Corsignano) is a Romanesque construction mostly dating back to the 12th century, with three naves and a cylindrical bell tower, like Ravenna, referable to the 11th century. Under the right aisle there is a small crypt.

Montalcino

Pienza

The monastery of Sant’Anna in Camprena is a monastic complex built in 1324 by San Bernardo Tolomei, founder of the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore.
Along the walls of the church there are thirteen paitings of the seventeenth-century representing Scenes of the life of San Bernardo Tolomei. The refertorio is decorated with frescoes by Giovanni Antonio Bazzi known as “Il Sodoma”. The famous movie “The English Patient” was filmed in the rooms and gardens of this monastery in 1996.

Pienza

It is a typical medieval village of the thirteenth century of which it still retains the austere features typical of medieval fortresses with the walls and the towers all around.
Monticchiello is also known for its "Poor Theater” in which all the inhabitants are themselves authors and actors. It takes place every summer from more than 50 years ago.
